Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an external preparation having excellent promoting action on blood circulation by making the external preparation include a specific adenosine as an active ingredient.
SOLUTION: This external preparation comprises adenosine, adenosine 5'-phosphoric acid and/or an adenosine 5'-phosphate as an active ingredient. The amount of the active ingredient in the external preparation mixed is, in the case of the external preparation being a hair tonic, preferably 0.01-20.0 wt.% in the total amount of the hair tonic. Consequently, the external preparation capable of promoting blood circulation in the vicinity of skin (in the skin or in the muscle to be reached by percutaneous absorption) and contributing to beauty and health is obtained. The external preparation can be administered by dermal administration by direct application or spray to skin. The daily dose is 0.01-100.0 mg per kg in the case of human. Preferably, the external preparation is administered once or dividedly twice to four times daily.
