Abstract:

To provide an external preparation which is suppressed in discoloration occurring with the passage of time, by solving such a problem that external preparations formulated by blending dl-methylephedrine hydrochloride being a vasoconstricting agent and isopropylmethylphenol at the same time have problem of coloration occurring with the passage of time and have been difficult to be produced.

The external preparation which is suppressed in coloration occurring with the passage of time and stable in a long period of time, is obtained by adding an aliphatic acid alkyl ester such as isopropyl palmitate and isopropyl myristate to an external preparation formulated by blending the dl-methylephedrine hydrochloride and the isopropylphenol at the same time.
