Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an extra fine fiber, concerning polyester copolymer extra fine fiber of 0.3 or less denier, excellent in yarn-making properties having a soft feeling comprising a blockcopolyester of polyethyleneterephthalate and polypropyleneterephthalate, and a suede base fabric using them.
SOLUTION: This extra fine fiber consists of the blockcopolyester of polyethyleneterephthalate and polypropyleneterephthalate which has a copolymer ratio of the polyethyleneterephthalate and polypropyleneterephthalate in weight is 30/70-70/30, having a single yarn denier of 0.1-0.3 denier and manifesting stress ≤2.5 g/d at 10% elongation.
