This composite fabric material used for covering a sports ball is manufactured by forming a single material by adhering the fabric materials divided into two or more together, and the single material is composed of fabric material including at least an outer layer and a backing layer or a supporting layer. Preferably, the needle felt working is executed on the outer layer and the backing layer or the supporting layer together. The composite material optionally include the regular three-dimensional pattern of dimples, and each dimple preferably has a surface area of 3-115 mm2.
