Abstract:

To facilitate an alignment regulation work for a wheel by a method wherein a spacer to hold a fastening member in an radially offset state is located on the inner cylinder of a bush having an outer cylinder fixed at one end of a suspension link and the inner cylinder fixed against a fixed part in such a state to regulate rotation.

The base end of a lateral link is fastened against a bracket 11, fixed at a suspension frame extending in the direction of a car width, through a bush 13 by means of a bolt 5. A toe regulating mechanism 10 is arranged at a part where the base end side of a lateral link is fastened against the suspension frame. The bush 13 comprises an outer cylinder 14 fixed on the lateral link side; an inner cylinder 15 securely fastened against the bracket 11 by means of the bolt 5; and an elastic member 16 located between two cylinders 14 and 15, and a columnar spacer 20 for regulation having a recessed part 20b is fitted in the inner side of the inner cylinder 15. An eccentric spacer 20 is rotated inside the inner cylinder 15 around an axis through a lever 21a for operation and regulation of a toe is practicable.
