Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a felt base fabric for papermaking which imparts good smoothness to a paper to be produced and can suppress soil deposition on a felt being used in the papermaking machine and clogging.SOLUTION: The felt base fabric 1 for papermaking contains a warp-based base fabric layer 4 and a weft-based base fabric layer 5. A warp 7 and a weft 8 of the warp-based base fabric layer 4 constitute a plain weave, and the weft 8 substantially does not have a strength durable in pressing or running in a papermaking machine. A weft 11 and a warp 12 of the weft-based base fabric layer 5 constitute a plain weave, and the warp 12 substantially does not have a strength durable in pressing or running in a papermaking machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
