Abstract:
To provide a felt needle capable of suppressing damage to yarns composing a woven fabric and preventing carrying in of the yarns into the interior of a nonwoven fabric while achieving high interlacing of a nonwoven fabric part when the nonwoven fabric is integrated with the woven fabric by needle punching.
The felt needle has one or more barbs 5 being 0.040 and 0.100 mm depth defined by a bottom part and a tip part and formed on the same ridge line of a blade. In the felt needle, the barb tip angle of the barbs is 80 to 120.
