To provide a fiber aggregate which is friendly for environment, such as the reduction in generated carbon dioxide, and can eliminate defects, such as inferior abrasion resistance, of products using polymers derived from biomass in comparison with products using polymers derived from petroleum.
This fiber aggregate includes conjugated fibers in which the cross-sectional shape of each fiber has a sheath-core shape, and a sheath portion is composed a polymer derived from petroleum and a core portion is derived from biomass, and is supplied for the use of fishery, agriculture, or miscellaneous goods. The sheath portion of the conjugated fiber preferably includes polyethylene terephthalate, and the core portion preferably includes polylactic acid.
