This fiber thread 4 for a pile is formed from the single yarn 52 which is the short fiber 50 of 3 d or less of average thickness and is of thickness 4 S-15 S and the ground fabric 4 for a mop is formed from the single yarn 52 which is the short fiber 50 of average thickness 1.4d-4.8 d and is of thickness 5 S-35 S. A mop 2 is composed using a pile 8 formed from this fiber thread for a pile, this mop 2 excels in a dust catching property, and even if the strand waste 116 gets caught in the pile 8 or the ground fabric 4 for a mop by cleaning, it is possible to automatically remove by washing.
