PURPOSE: To obtain a thin biaxial-stretched film at an inexpensive cost, by a method wherein a resin layer, whose main component is polyamide having a specified melting point, are formed into a film in a lamination state, and after the lamination is stretched by heating, it is exfoliated at an interlayer.
CONSTITUTION: A resin layer 12, whose main component is polyethylene terephthalate, and a resin layer 13, whose main component is polyamide having a melting point of 200W280°C and being incompatible to the resin 12, are laminated to form a film in a lamination state. After the lamination in said condition is heated for stretching, it is exfoliated at the interlayer, and the resultant work is removed as an individual single resin layer film. This permits the production of a thin biaxial- stretched film made of terephthalate at an inexpensive cost, and also of a polyamide film having a practical value.
