Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a film for laminating a metal board, having a thermoplastic resin free from pin holes larger than a specified size at the parts to be laminated on the metal, excellent in printability, flavor proofing properties and corrosion resistance and useful for a metal container.
SOLUTION: This film for laminating a metal board has a thermoplastic resin of a polyester resin, etc., such as polyethylene terephthalate free from pin holes of ≥0.1mm in diameter at least at the parts to be laminated on a metal such as tinned sheet-iron or aluminum. The film has a surface wet tensile strength of ≥420μN, and shrinkage percentages in lateral and longitudinal directions of the film after a thermal treatment at 150°C for 30min are each ≤5%. Further, it is preferable to obtain a laminated metal board by laminating the film on a metal board and to produce a metal container by using the laminated metal board.
