To provide a film manufacturing method which prevents expansion of a ruptured portion when a portion of a base material is ruptured while being stretched.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a film F is disclosed, the method comprising an adhesion step for adhering adhesion tapes 100 onto a brittle resin base material S being conveyed in a flow direction MD along a width direction TD perpendicular to the flow direction MD, and a stretch step for stretching the base material S having the adhesion tapes 100 adhered thereto together with the adhesion tapes 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
