Abstract:

To provide a filter for a gas turbine air intake part which can easily eliminate dust by an ultrasonic cleaner in spite of having a large capacity.

This filter 1 for a gas turbine air intake part is provided with a box-shaped frame unit 3 and a filter cloth 5 stored in this frame unit 3. The frame unit 3 is constituted by metal material (particularly stainless steel). The filter cloth 5 is formed in pleat shape (fold shape), to be continuously formed with many pleat surfaces 7. No interposed object is provided between the fellow pleat surfaces 7, 7. The filter cloth 5 is non-woven fabric consisting of synthetic resin-made fiber (particularly polypropylene-made fiber). This filter for the gas turbine air intake part, regardless of large capacity, makes an ultrasonic wave reach the total unit of the filter cloth 5 in the case of cleaning by an ultrasonic cleaner.
