Abstract:

To provide a filter media and a filter by which the incorporation of impurities such as refuse into cake is prevented.

The filter is provided with a cylindrical filter medium main body 1g, an upper end part opening part 1a arranged at the upper part of the filter medium main body 1g and for charging an original liquid 15 into the filter medium main body, a lower end part opening part 1b arranged at the lower part of the filter medium main body and for discharging cake 16 from the filter media main body and a lower end covering part 1c arranged around the lower end part opening part to cover the surroundings of the lower end part opening part.
