Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter capable of effectively reducing flow sound due to a liquid level wave when a waves is generated on a liquid level of a refrigerant of gas-liquid two phase flow having a liquid level continuing in a refrigerant flow direction.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a filter 10 which is installed in a refrigerant passage 110 in which a refrigerant of a refrigeration cycle flows. In the filter 10, size of an opening is 0.50 mm or more in a circle equivalent diameter, porosity in an installation range of the refrigerant passage 110 is ratio Sb/Sa of a cross-sectional area Sb at the minimum diameter part of the refrigerant passage 110 to a cross-sectional area Sa of the refrigerant passage 110 in its installation range or more and 80% or less, length L of a refrigerant flow direction P of the refrigerant passage 110 is 5.0 mm or more. Since filter length L is 5.0 mm or more, flow sound due to a liquid level wave can be effectively reduced. Since the porosity is Sb/Sa or more and 80% or less, and the size of the opening is 0.50 mm or more in the circle equivalent diameter, increase of passage resistance of the refrigerant passage 110, and generation of clog can be prevented.
