Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further facilitate heat exchange between a heat transfer fin and a heat transfer pipe and an airflow.SOLUTION: A fin tube type heat exchanger 10 includes: a heat transfer fin 11; and a plurality of heat transfer pipes 12 for penetrating the heat transfer fin 11. On a surface of the heat transfer fin 11 which is on an upstream side of the heat transfer pipe 12 in a flow direction of an airflow, a vortex generator 13 is provided. In the vortex generator 13, end points 13d, 13e of a ridge line 13c generating by connection between a first surface 13a and a second surface 13b are located on a further downstream side of the airflow than a center 13f of the ridge line, and on each cross section when cutting each flat surface vertical to the ridge line 13c, the length of a perpendicular line down from a point which belongs to the ridge line 13c to a straight line for connecting an end point which does not belong to the ridge line 13c out of two end points in an intersection between the first surface 13a and each cross section, and the end point which does not belong to the ridge line 13c out of the two end points in an intersection between the second surface 13b and each cross section, is longer than the length of the perpendicular line down to the straight line from the point which belongs to the intersection other than the point which belongs to the ridge line 13c.
