CONSTITUTION: A finishing board for ironing is composed so as to switch the floating state of gas in an air hole by switching dampers 14A-14D provided reciprocally in the air passage of the finishing board body by the pedal mechanism 20. The pedal mechanism 20 is formed so as to support the pedal 21 pivotably by a supporting shaft 24, to reciprocate the pedal 21 within the pivoting range from a first position to a second position by the connecting mechanism 19 according to the reciprocal movement of the dampers 14A to 14D, and to hold the pedal 21 at the third position that is the intermediate position within the pivoting range by pressing by a return spring 28. In this way, it is possible to dispense with an operation to set the pedal 21 at the third position.
