Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory lining structure for an induction heating apparatus installed in a pig iron storing furnace, which prevents trouble of leakage of molten pig iron even when a crack occurs in a lining refractory which is composed of a rammed material or an anhydrous castable refractory and which forms a flow passage of the induction heating apparatus.SOLUTION: The refractory lining structure for the induction heating apparatus 5 arranged in the pig iron storing furnace, includes a neutral or a basic shaped bricks 16 arranged between a steel-made casing 9 as the outer shell of the induction heating apparatus and the lining refractory 10 which is composed of the rammed material or the anhydrous castable refractory and which is constructed at the inner surface side of the casing.
