PURPOSE: To properly control tension of a fishing line according to a type of fish by providing a torque sensor in a coupling shaft for a reel for winding the fishing line to a driving device for rotating and driving the reel 1 and detecting torque in reel driving.

CONSTITUTION: A reel 1 for winding a fishing line 2 and driving device 5 for rotating and driving the reel 1 are provided in the aimed fishing tool and further a torque sensor 6 is provided in a coupling shaft 4 for coupling the reel 1 to the driving device 5. Torque in driving the reel 1 is detected by means of the torque sensor 6 and predetermined value signal is sent to a control device 7. On the one hand, torque value previously set according to a type of fish and a kind of fishing line 2, etc., is sent from a torque setting device 9 to the control device 7. An output torque of the driving device 5 is controlled so that measured value sent from the torque sensor 6 is equal to the set value sent from the torque setting device 9 by the control device 7. Thereby tension of fishing line 2 is properly controlled.
