Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smooth fishline substantially not causing slippage between a core yarn and a sheath yarn part, having high strength, low elongation, excellent abrasion resistance, excellent weather resistance, and good appearance.
SOLUTION: This fishline is composed of the core yarn comprising an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber, and the sheath yarn part covering the periphery of the core yarn and obtained by braiding a synthetic fiber or a metallic fiber. The core yarn and the sheath yarn part are at least partially fixed by a hot-melt adhesive.
