PURPOSE: To provide a process for fixing two parts to each other with a double- coated tape having an adhesive layer on each side, wherein the positioning of the parts is performed according to a specified manner to facilitate the positioning work.
CONSTITUTION: A process for fixing two parts 1 and 2 to each other with a double-coated tape 3 having an adhesive coating on each side, wherein one surface 31 of the tape 3 is bonded to one part 1, and the other part 2 is bonded to the other surface 32 of the tape 3 after water or an alcohol is applied to at least either the other surface 32 of the tape 3 or the bonding surface of the other part 2. The other part 2 in this state is bonded to the other surface 32, and the positioning of the parts 1 and 2 is performed by relatively sliding them.
