To provide a coated abrasive fixture for portable polishing machines, which allows hook-like engaging elements to be exactly and preferently arranged at the parts to which Hook-and-Loop fasteners are not required to be adhesive bonded and with which polishing is directly concerned.

An engagingly fastening surface FS is provided by forming plural Hook-and-Loop fastener engaging element-rows ER parallel to the wrapping direction of coated abrasive integrally with an engagingly fastening part 10b of a fixture 10, and a cavity part 10c is formed inside the engagingly fastening part. Thus, since the need for a troublesome work of integrally joining a male Hook-and-Loop fastener to the fixture 10 by an adhesive, is eliminated, and the Hook-and-Loop fastener engaging element-rows ER can be optionally and integrally formed on necessary places on the surface of the engagingly fastening part 10b of the fixture 10, the engagingly fastening surface FS formed of the Hook-and-Loop fastener engaging element-rows ER can be exactly formed only on the parts in which the engagingly fastening strength to the coated abrasive is required to be ensured, and the engagingly fastening surface FS is not formed at the parts at which the engaging fastening strength is unnecessary. As a result, cost can be reduced.
