To provide a flame-retardant laminated polyester film superior in flame-retardancy, especially flame-retardancy after being processed into a flat cable and superior in thermal fusion properties, and to provide a flame-retardant flat cable made of the above film.
The flame-retardant flat cable can be made of the flame-retardant laminated polyester film which has a lamination structure comprising a co-polymer polyester layer (A) containing a phosphorous system component (i) originating from at least one kind out of a carboxy phosphinic acid compound or a carboxy phosphinous acid compound and a co-polymer polyester layer (B) on the one surface of the above layer (A), and a content of the phosphorous system component (i) is ≥10 mol% and ≤40 mol% with a total repeating unit of polyester as a reference and moreover is more than the amount of the entire co-polymer of the layer (B), and the amount of co-polymer of the copolymer polyester constituting the layer (B) is ≥1 mol% and ≤15 mol% with a total repeating unit of polyester as a reference.
