Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a blow-molded article excellent in impact resistance, heat resistance and flame retardance at a low temperature and a low humidity by a method wherein composition, which is prepared by compounding heat resistance improver, flame- retardant, flame-retardant assistant and halogen scavenger with specified crystalline polyamide at specified ratio so as to realize specified melt viscosity, is employed.
CONSTITUTION: Crystalline polyamide, which consists of 50-90wt.% of hexamethylene adipamide component, 5-40wt.% of hexamethylene terephthalamide component and 5-30wt.% of hexamethylene isophthalamide component and the melting point Tm and crystallization temperature Tc of which satisfy tire following relationships: Tm≥225°C and Tc≤230°C. After that, by compounding 0.01-10 pts.wt. of heat resistance improver, 5-150 pts.wt. of flame-retardant, 1-50 pts.wt. of flame-retardant assistant and 0-20 pts.wt. of halogen scavenger with 100 pts.wt. of polyamide, flame-retardant polyamide composition with melt viscosity, which satisfies the formulae I and II, is obtained. In the formulae, T is the temperature, which satisfies the formulae: Tm+10°C≤T≤Tm+70°C, and μa10 and μa1000 represent the melt viscosities under the conditions that the shear rates at the temperature T are 10sec-1 and 1,000sec-1.
