Abstract:
To obtain floss having good heat retaining properties even though the weight is lightened compared with cotton, regenerable compared with floss silk and capable of increasing the production owing to saving of troublesome works until finishing.
This floss is produced by refining and drying pierced cocoons free from silkworm seeds, treating the cocoons by a carding machine, extending the cocoons and producing the floss by napping.
