Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a high activity and high selectivity catalyst for a fluidized bed using titanium oxide as the carrier and having satisfactory strength and moderate bulk density.
CONSTITUTION: This fluid catalyst contains titanium oxide, a vanadium compd., an alkali metallic compd. and a sulfuric acid compd. as essential components and contains 0.5-15wt.% (expressed in terms of oxide) at least one among Mo, Bi and Sb or may further contain at least one kind of component selected from among silica, boron oxide, phosphorus oxide and oxides of rare earth metals.
