Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a fluid permeation opening a very small size, control the fluid permeability, simplify the manufacture and reduce the manufacturing cost by forming a porous flame sprayed layer of given thickness on the surface of a fluid permeation opening. CONSTITUTION:A porous flame sprayed layer 16 of given thickness to a surface 14 of a material 12 in which a pore 10 made on a surface as a fluid permeation opening runs through is formed. As such a flame sprayed layer 16 is constituted of a lamination of flame sprayed particles 20, a number of voids 22 are among a number of sprayed particles 20, and the voids 22 through which the pore 10 is communicated with outside are of far smaller size than the pore 10. As the pressure loss to a flowing fluid can be adjusted properly by changing the thickness of the flame sprayed layer 16 while very fine void sizes are secured, for instance, a fluid permeable material shiftable for a vent hole material of a mold can be manufactured.
