To provide inexpensive hydraulic transmission device and machine capable of stopping rotation of an output shaft securely by stop operation, dispensing with a link mechanism from a driver's seat, and achieving satisfactory operation property.
These fluid pressure transmission device and machine are provided with a fluid pressure pump 33 driven by an engine, discharging oil into an oil passage 21 from either of a pair of first connection ports 23, and sucking oil from an oil passage 22, a fluid pressure motor 34 having a motor shaft 9 taking the oil in the oil passage 21 in from either of a pair of second connection ports 24 and rotating by oil pressure, a bypass passage 25 bypassing the pair of second connection ports 24, and a solenoid valve 12 opening and closing the bypass passage 25.
