PURPOSE: To smoothly discharge a liquid chemical to the last without generating the space of a negative pressure in the container by constituting the container of straight chain polyethylene(PE) which is an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having a specific density and consisting of the α-olefin of specific number of carbon atoms and housing gas of half the volume of the container or above into the container.

CONSTITUTION: This liquid chemical container 1 is the fluid therapy container which consists of a hermetically closed container port 2 at the top end and the container body having an elliptic sectional shape and in which the gas is housed. The fluid therapy container consists of the straight chain PE which is the ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having 3 to 10C α-olefin. The density thereof is 0.88 to 0.915g/cm3. The α-olefin is exemplified by propylene, etc. A puncture needle is connected to the fluid therapy container. The liquid chemical in the fluid therapy container is run downward by the liquid pressure arising from water level difference and is injected through an instillating cylinder 18 and a flow rate regulator 19 from an injection needle 20 to a patient. While the level of the liquid chemical 13 of the transfusion container 11 falls gradually during the instillation, the container is successively deformed while the upper space 16 is hermetically closed and, therefore, the outflow of the liquid chemical is smoothly executed.
