To provide a fluttering preventing structure for a tent flap capable of restricting the fluttering of the tent flap (screen) and a proper pole for a tent used therefor.
A fluttering preventing structure includes a first latching means 17 formed from an almost S-shaped fitting and fixed to the right and left ends at the lower end portion of a tent flap 12 preferably via an elastic member 16 formed from a rubber and a second latching means 22 formed from a ring- shaped fitting and mounted at the lower end portion of a tent pole 20 corresponding to the first latching means 17, the first latching means 17 being latched to the second latching means 22. The tent pole 20 having the end mounted with a rope is fixed to a tent installation site for supporting the corners of an awning constituting a roof, the tent pole 20 including the latching means 22 for temporarily fixing the lower end portion of the tent flap 12 to the lower end portion thereof.
