Abstract:

To provide a flywheel battery supporting device having multifold elastic supporting structure capable of reducing the swinging angle of flywheel and the bearing load.

Rotatably round the Y-axis a flywheel support 18 is supported by a gimbal rotatable round the X-axis and is arranged swingable in any direction on the Z-axis as the rotary shaft of a flywheel 36 while their rotations are suppressed by resilient force. The resilient force is set so as to reduce the swinging angle of the flywheel for low frequency vibration. The arrangement further includes a bearing part 38 to support the flywheel 36 rotatably round the Z-axis and a shock absorbing structural member 44 to function as a spring provided in the area to the flywheel support 18, and the bearing part 38 is made rotatable relative to the flywheel support 18. The spring hardness of the structural member 44 is set so as to reduce the bearing load of the bearing part 38 for high frequency vibrations.
