Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tricycle for a child, capable of reducing a volume by folding and a method for folding the same.SOLUTION: A tricycle for a child comprises a 4-linkage formed of: an upper link unit 7; a head tube 6; a lower link unit 8; and a support bar 10. A thrust bar unit is rotatably connected to the upper link unit, while fixedly connected to or separated from the lower link unit through the a lock unit. For folding, the lock device is released, then, the thrust bar unit is pulled up to separate from the lower link unit, then, the thrust bar unit is reversed forward to arrange the thrust bar unit, the head tube, the upper link unit and the lower link unit in stack in an order from the top to the bottom, so that a folded volume can be minimized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
