To provide a folding chair which can make a rear leg body hardly slide with respect to a floor surface, in the state of being leaned against a wall surface, another piece of furniture or the like by being shifted to a folded attitude, and which can make the leg body easily slide with respect to the floor surface, in the use state of not seating a sitting person.
A folding chair C capable of operating to be folded includes a fall prevention member provided at a rear leg body 12 and suppressing sliding of the rear leg body 12 with respect to a floor surface F by coming into contact with the floor surface F only when leaned against something in a folded attitude, and a sliding promotion member provided at the rear leg body 12 and promoting the sliding of the rear leg body 12 with respect to the floor surface F by coming into contact with the floor surface F when a sitting person's load does not act in a use attitude.
