Abstract:
To provide a folding method for panel, and a self-interference-avoidable folding panel such that since the panels are carried to the outer space in the form of panels folded small in plane, and expanded in the outer space for use to be constituted into a plane or cylindrical shape for use, and also can be folded small in plane to be stored so as to avoid self-interference.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a folding method for folding a virtual lattice having a plurality of modules 8 arrayed longitudinally and laterally such that respective sides of the respective modules included therein form mountain folds and respective diagonals thereof form valley folds, the folding method employing β precedent folding to avoid self-interference and also employing α precedent folding as a way of advancing simultaneous folding to enable folding into a cylindrical shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
