Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a structure capable of easily folding an axially symmetrical rotating body in a compact form.
CONSTITUTION: A rotating body has units 3 constituted by radially dividing a disc, cells 4 constituted by dividing the units 3 into a number of pieces from the center toward the outer circumference, a folding member 5 for mutually connecting the cells in each unit, and a connecting member 6 for alternately connecting the cells in the adjacent units to each other every other piece, so that each cell is alternately foldable in the radial direction of the disc by the folding member 5. Each unit is also made alternately foldable in the direction orthogonal to the radial direction of the disc, and after the rotating body 2 is carried in the folded state, the cells 4 and the units 3 are expanded by the centrifugal force of the rotating body 2.
