Abstract:

To form parallel crimps on a food such as a squid.

A belt conveyor 3 is horizontally installed on a frame 1 and a cutter 15 is arranged so as to bestride approximately the center of the conveyor. A conveyor belt 7 is provided with a punched part 11 through which a great number of small holes are bored at intervals. A suction hopper 19 communicating with a suction blower 17 is installed below the cutter with laying the belt 7 between the hopper and the cutter. The hopper is a box shape, has an opening at the top and the conveyor belt 7 is rotated while being slid on the periphery edge of the opening. A cyclone type gas-liquid separator 21 is installed between the hopper and the suction blower. In the cutter 15, four revolving shafts 29 are supported on a frame body 27 mutually at intervals and these revolving shafts are driven by a motor 53 so as to rotate in the same direction. Circular blades 31 and sleeves 33 are alternately inserted into each revolving shaft. The lower end of the circular blade 31 is made slightly higher than the top of the conveyor belt 7.
