Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a forgery-preventive paper and a printed matter therefrom which gives only copies of a quite different color tone from the original, even when it is copied by a copying machine.
CONSTITUTION: The base paper is coated with a partial coating layer mainly comprising pearl pigments and an adhesive. As a pearl pigment, a pigment emitting rainbow colors is preferably used. Further, the paper is subjected to printing to give a forgery-preventive printed matter. Since the rainbow colors of the pearl luster layer are not copied, the printed matter can readily be winnowed from the false.
