Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate damages to a photosensitive body due to form separation by separating a form from the photosensitive body by aerodynamic force.
CONSTITUTION: When a form 3 is sent to transfer a visible image on the photosensitive body 1, the image is transferred to the form 3 by a transfer corotron 2. Then, when the form 3 reaches the position of a negative pressure generator 5, air is blown out of a nozzle 6. Consequently, air tends to flow along a wall surface, so the air blown out of the nozzle 6 flows away from the form 3. Therefore, negative pressure is produced over the form 3, which is drawn upwardly to be separated from the photosensitive body 1.
