Title:
FORMATION OF SURFACE PATTERN FOR SYNTHETIC RESIN MOLDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS56127417
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify process and reduce cost for molding a synthetic resin by a method in which a synthetic resin material on which patterns are printed in advance by a foaming ink or a crystalline ink is molded by a blow or vacuum molding method so as form a foamed (or crystal) patterns on the surface of the synthetic resin molding as soon as it is molded.

CONSTITUTION: A synthetic resin material 3 on which a pattern is printed in advance by a foaming ink or a crystallin ink is fixed between fixing tools 1 and 1', heated by lowering a heater 5 to soften the synthetic resin material 3 and at the same time to cause the ink to generate foams, whereby foamed pattern is formed, or crystal pattern is formed by the crystalline ink where a shrinkage or pear-skin pattern is formed. Then, the heater 5 is lifted, molds 4 and 4' are closely placed around the synthetic resin material 3, compressed air is injected through an air inlet 2 to expand the softened synthetic resin material 3, and a synthetic resin molding whose surface is provided with foamed pattern or crystal pattern is obtained.
