Title:
FORMED METALLIC PLATE WHICH EXPANDS AND CONTRACTS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS619934
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form relatively easily a metallic plate to a spherical or shapeless curved shape by forming the metallic plate into the shape of infinite continuous assemblage and to a sectional shape.

CONSTITUTION: The metallic plate is formed into the shape of the infinite continuous assemblage 7 consisting of the hollow cones 6 of which the bottom side has the polyhedral shape 4 made into the rugged shape having plural pieces of pleat-shaped recesses 2 and projections 3, 3' and permitting drawing of an infinite continuous set pattern 5 and of which the base is dropped out on the outside circumference 1 and to the sectional 8 shape. This formed metallic plate is freely expandable and contractable vertically and horizontally within the permissible range of the deforming power intrinsic to this metal and within the deformation range permitted by the deformation of the pleat-shaped ruggedness formed to the obliqueface and the bottom side of the conical bodies 6. The formed plate itself is easily deformable to a free shape over the entire part.
