Furniture includes: an opening 13 formed on a top plate 11 of the furniture; a box body 21 provided below the opening 13 and open upward; a base plate 51 removably fixed to the bottom surface 22 of the box body 21; and a support pillar support part 56 fixed to the base plate 51 that supports the lower end part 50a of a support pillar 50 that supports an article arranged above the top plate 11.
