To provide a futon (Japanese mattress) clip which can securely clip a futon and is eliminated of inconvenience.

This futon clip is equipped with a pair of upper clip arms 3 which are pivotally supported mutually rotatable around a connection shaft 21 and a pair of lower clip arms 4 which are pivotally supported respectively by connection shafts 22 at the tip ends of the upper clip arms 3 and can be changed in positions between a folded position respectively folded over the upper clip arms and an extended position extended straight. The clip is also equipped with a lower coil spring 24 to energize the upper clip arms in a direction to mutually approach, a lower coil spring 25 to energize lower clip arms 4 in the direction toward each folded direction, a lock means 6 to lock the extended position of the lower clip arms 4 against the energizing force of the lower coil spring 25, and an operating lever 5 to release the lock.
