Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability even in a long use by constituting a gas light mantle with a seating and a light emitting net body and fixing the light emitting net body to the fixing part in the seating with a heat resistant inorganic adhesive.
SOLUTION: A gas light mantle consists of a seating 2 and a light emitting net body 3, and the light emitting net part 3 is fixed to a upper fixing part 4 in the seating 2 with a heat resistant inorganic adhesive 4. The adhesive 4 is a ceramic adhesive mainly comprised of silica and alumina, whose coefficient of thermal expansion is as small as 3×10-6/°C, and is small in difference between expansion and contraction is abrupt temperature changes when turning light on and off. Since the adhesive fixing part has wider contact area than wire bonding, the ignition shock when lit on is dispersed over larger area. Since the light emitting net body 3 and the seating 2 are bonded with the heat resistant inorganic adhesive with small coefficient of thermal expansion, previous baking of the gas light mantle 1 is eliminated, and the gas light mantle 1 is backed by direct backing when a gas light is lit.
