Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier laminate, using cellulose, and having excellent gas barrier properties even under high humidity conditions, and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: A gas barrier laminate comprises, on a base material 1, a layer (A) comprising cellulose nanofiber having a carboxy group, and a layer (B) comprising a polyvalent metal compound, wherein the layer (A) and the layer (B) are in contact with each other, and the cellulose nanofiber in the layer (A) is subjected to ion cross-linking due to polyvalent metal ions derived from the polyvalent metal compound.
