Abstract:
PURPOSE: To heighten pressure tightness in the shoulder part of a gas cylinder of double layer structure formed of an inner shell and an outer shell.
CONSTITUTION: In a gas cylinder having an inner shell 2 with gas barrier property and a pressure tight FRP outer shell 3 provided in such a way as to cover the inner shell 2, the innermost layers 9a, 9b in the shoulder part of the outer shell 3 have the hoop wound layers of reinforcing fiber.
