Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide excellent purification efficiency and compact design.
CONSTITUTION: This general purpose internal combustion engine 1 is provided with the secondary air feeder which feeds the secondary air into an exhaust port through an air purifier, a joint tube 42 and a lead valve by using exhaust air pulsation in. The exhaust port and a silencer 6 provided with exhaust gas purifying function are connected by an exhaust pipe 7, and the upstream end of a tail pipe 21 which is longer than the exhaust pipe 7 is connected with the silencer 6. Moreover, the tail pipe 21 is disposed downstream of a cooling air passage.
