Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass composition having high aesthetic and excellent mechanical property, capable of imitating a structure of a natural tooth and forming a ceramic body for a dental restoration product by a simple and easy method.SOLUTION: There is provided a ceramic body for dental restoration which is a glass composition containing 65 to 72 wt.% of SiO, at least 10.1 wt.% of LiO and at least 10.1 wt.% of AlObased on total mass of the composition and having a ratio between LiO and AlOof 1:1 to 1.5:1 and forms at least two crystal phases, which are different each other, by a heat treatment including a nucleus formation process and further first crystal process in a first temperature range and a second crystal process in a second temperature range.
