To obtain glass paper excellent in dimensional stability and burst strength and suitable for panel for electric floor heating by blending at least glass fiber with a synthetic fiber and applying a flame retardant to the blend.
This glass paper for electric floor heating panel contains 5-50% at least glass fiber and at least one kind of synthetic fiber selected from the group consisting of polyester fiber, polyvinyl alcohol fiber and polypropylene fiber and has ≥1.5 kg/cm2 burst strength and ≤+0.02/+0.25 immersion elongation in vertical/horizontal direction and has self-extinguishing property by coating of flame retardant and is constituted in a multilayer by arranging a layer not containing glass fiber on the side opposed to the side on which a substrate is provided. The glass paper for electric floor heating panel is laminated to the substrate comprising an inorganic material or a plywood and a face heating element is provided on the uppermost layer to prepare the objective panel for control panel type floor heating.
