Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, when there is a function for automatic stop based on a moisture meter and a discharge operation is performed in a state where there is no grain, automatic stop is executed due to the fact that the moisture meter cannot collect the grain, so that an operator cannot perform a cleaning operation arbitrarily.SOLUTION: A grain dryer includes: a conveyance mechanism (H) for conveying grain; an air exhausting fan (5); and a moisture meter (14). It also includes control means which, during a discharge operation in which the conveyance mechanism (H) and the air exhaust fan (5) are driven for discharging the grain in a storage chamber (1) to the outside of the machine, collects sample grain at set intervals by the moisture meter (14) from the grain being conveyed by the conveyance mechanism (H), which determines that there is no grain when the sample grain is no longer collectable and which automatically stops the discharge operation. It also includes a cleaning operation mode for performing a cleaning operation in which the operation of the discharge operation continues even when the moisture meter (14) does not collect the sample grain.
