Abstract:
To provide a grinding device configured to accurately grasp a diameter of a grinding wheel at low costs so that the grinding wheel can be used to use limit.SOLUTION: A control device comprises: a pin-length memorizing part 94; a pin-length renewing part 95; a first grinding wheel-diameter calculating part 96 that calculates a first diameter R of a grinding wheel on the basis of a relative position Pb of the grinding wheel at the time of sending out a contact signal and a length L1 of a detecting pin; a second grinding wheel- diameter calculating part 105 that calculates a second diameter of the grinding wheel to be calculated based on a relative position Pa of the grinding wheel at the time of sending out a sizing signal S2 and a predetermined dimension of a diameter of a part to be ground; and a sizing offset-value calculating part 97 that calculates a difference between the first diameter and the second diameter as a sizing offset value β. The pin-length renewing part 95 corrects the length L1 of the detecting pin on the basis of a difference between an initial sizing offset value β1 of the grinding wheel and a sizing offset value β2 after truing is performed by prescribed number of times.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
